FAQ

Questions people
actually ask.

THE CARD

Can I change a square after I have written it?
Until you lock the card, yes: every square is editable. After it locks, you can still complete squares with photo proof, but you cannot reword them or add new ones. That is the whole point of locking.
Do I have to use all 25 squares?
Yes. The grid is fixed at 25: twenty-four goals plus a free space you write yourself. The free space is optional: turn it off and all twenty-five are real goals.
What is the free space for?
It is your easy one. Something that is going to happen anyway, so the card is not completely blank on day one. Mine was “make it to 2026.”
What if I do not finish?
Nothing happens. There is no penalty, no streak, no notification telling you that you have let yourself down. The card just sits there with the photos you did take.

PROOF & PHOTOS

Do I have to upload a photo for every square?
Yes, a photo is how a square gets finished. The one exception is “find someone who” squares on event cards, which you finish with the name of the person you found.
Who can see my photos?
Nobody, unless you send them the link. Solo cards are private by default. There is no feed and there are no followers.
Can I replace a photo I already used?
Yes. Open the square and swap the photo; the square stays completed.

GROUPS & EVENTS

Does everybody get the same card?
No, and that is the good bit. The organiser writes one pool (say fifty items) and everyone gets twenty-five of them in their own arrangement, so rows and corners actually mean something.
Who pays for a group card?
The host, once, up front, before invites go out. Players join free with a code, QR or link, no account.
What happens when the group is full?
New joiners see a full message and are blocked. The organiser can see who is in from their dashboard.
Can I cancel a group card?
Yes, and it goes inactive for everyone. Cancelling an opened game has no refund; if you have not opened it yet, request a refund instead.
Can we play on paper instead?
Yes. A printable card is $25 flat for as many different arrangements as you need, as one numbered PDF with a master sheet. You sign in so you can come back: edit for 7 days, re-download forever. An occasion is printed or played online, not both.

MONEY

How much is it?
$9.99 for an individual card. Event cards are $29 for up to 15 people, $39 for 30, $49 for 50 and $69 for 100. Enterprise is $299 for 25, $499 for 50 and $799 for 100. Printable cards are $25 flat for as many as you need. All in Canadian dollars, one time.
What is the difference between Events and Enterprise?
Same game: item pool, templates, win conditions, answer keys, teams, the feed and the recap. Enterprise adds your logo and colours, a hidden image or video announcement, co-admins, a CSV export, an invoice with every payment, and duplicating the card for your next cohort.
Is there a subscription?
No. There is no subscription and there are no ads.
What if it is free later?
If it ever goes free-with-ads, everyone who paid keeps an ad-free account permanently. That is written into the terms, not just a promise on a page.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, while it is unused: before your first finished square, before you open an event game, or before you download a printable PDF. Press Request refund on the card and it goes straight back to your card.
